I've just picked up my new MG HS TROPHY HYBRID + (JAN26) & have been delighted that Android auto /Apple are now Wireless enabled so no awkward cables .

Also the 4 USB ports are upgraded to Type C so no need for adaptors !.

MG have listened to the comments & quickly fixed them . Great !!

Morning Clive ,

A pleasant surprise even the Salesman was unaware of the upgrades as its the 1st he's seen .

Cheers ,

Lachie .

I wonder if wirelles android/apple is hardware update or it can be enabled by software upgrade. Car already has bluetooth, wireless AP, so theoreticly it could be just a software update.

Hi ,

I'm no expert but when I calibrated my bluetooth when I picked up my new car it immediately recognised the Android auto .

My last HS certainly had to be wired ! .

Cheers , Lachie

A good surprise for Christms but MG staff should be made aware of change/improvements but this sort of thing has happened before .

I hope they can update the car software as we picked ours up just before Christmas and it's not wireless Apple Car Play/Android auto.

You'll probably need to ask directly for a update as knowing MG they might not do it automatically.
