Wiring colours rear boot light

Does anyone know the wiring colours for the 12v feed to the rear boot light please. Looking to wire up an additional light that comes on when boot is opened?

I got one of those kits which connects to the existing bulb at the back.

It was quite easy to DIY, and it comes with the necessary tools and even tapes.

That's similar to what I'm putting in. Want to connect to wiring in the boot.

I'm just a bit lazy to test for 12v

ah, the kit I had just has the extension that clips onto the existing rear light so no need to test for anything. all great for lazy DIY-ers.
