I've found the TPS readings on both my old MG4 and the MGS5 settle down after a few months. It's almost as if they need running in.
I've got an accurate pressure gauge which I check the pressures after using my tyre pump. I now know I have to put in a couple more psi than indicated on the pump.
Mine is the same Ian, my inflation pump has a digital read out that can be set to cut out pumping when the desired pressure has been reached.
When checking the tyre pressures with a second verified digital gauge, it reads slightly lower than the preset on the inflation pump.
I therefore normally over inflate each tyre by about 2 - 3 PSI and then use the second hand held gauge, to allow a little air out of each tyre, until the reading is bang on !.
But the car still sometimes reports a differential in tyre pressures.
I did find less of a discrepancy of readings on our previous two ZS EV’s though.
Here is a screen shot taken from the readings of my car this morning.
I checking the pressures last week and all tyres were set to 2.5 bar.
The R/H side of the car is very slightly higher than the L/H side.
This is normal in warmer conditions, if the sun is hitting one side of the car of course.
But not so today unfortunately and no strong winds either.
TBH - it’s close enough not to trigger a warning

that’s the main concern of course.
About a 3 - 4 PSI difference in an individual tyre, appears to be the tipping point when an alert is triggered.
Although I have seen it can be fooled.
A few weeks ago, one morning I came out to find that my O/S/R tyre was almost flat !.
Had it been the N/S/R - I probably would have just jumped into the car.
I then decided to run the App and check the status of the tyre

pressures.
Wondering why it had not sent an alarm message to my phone ?.
When checking the App ALL tyre pressures were almost equal ?.
So that is why I never received the warning.
I inflated the tyre and called the local tyre shop.
Turned out there was a large 2” roofing screw that had gone straight through the tread of the tyre.
I think I may have picked up the puncture just before the car was parked up for the night the previous day.
The car was locked and had closed down and gone into a deep sleep, so it was not aware of the recent puncture at that point maybe

.
I thought it may have detected the error when I opened the drivers door the next day ?.
Had I jumped in and moved the car, I expect it would have picked it up straight away

.
Like many other warning systems we use today, given the right set of circumstances, they can be fooled and caught out.
