HI
Had all my badges wrapped in black, (just the top face)
The company who did this have the templates for all the badges, and will sent them out in what ever colour you want.
If anyone is interested, let me know so I can let you have the details.

Do they just sit on top of the existing silver emblems leaving some silver visible or do they cover the whole tuing? I looked at the full emblem covers on Ali and MGTitan but I’m worried I won’t be able to remove them easily when the car goes back

They just go over the existing badge, with no silver, visible. And they come off, easily. Just warm them up, (hair dryer not heat gun) and gently pry them off. (Not with a screwdriver)
Or just leave them on, I'd be very very suprised if they noticed. 🙂👍

Yes, the wrap goes over the top leaving the chrome edges. (Sticky black plastic 😆)

Installed front and read black badges on top of original ones. The ones in front works good. The ones in the back fell off within 1 h of installing them. Removed any fatty substances before application, and heated up the emblems and stickers. Would not stay there in +2 degrees C. Would probably need some addon glue to make them really stick, but not sure if they ever will go off again then.

Quite often the tape supplied with most things is crap. I usually change it for VHB 3M tape. And believe me, they are not going anywhere. As said always clean the surface, prior to sticking, I use Meths. If you've nothing like that available, alcohol will do. Whisky etc. And probably warm the surface with a Hair dryer, definitely not a Heat Gun. 🙂👍

Agreed, drying your hair with a heat gun will cause frizzy ends o_O A light wave with the heat gun will warm up the area stopping the heat dissipating before you get the paper off the back of the stick on ....

Careful masking and a coat of spray contact glue first, will prepare the surface well enough the glue won't release until reheated .....

I use this method for all the stick on bits both inside and outside the motorhome .... I haven't stuck anything on the car, that would require cleaning first .... and there hasn't been a special enough occasion for that to happen yet ;)
