Hmm mines much better.
6 months down, £216 a month 6k miles, but the deals were mental last Aug/Sept so i was very lucky.
Will keep watch and see how they go this year, at the time i got mine the broker was keen to point out that he has never seen MG cut prices so low for Lease companies and he would be surprised if they ever did again, he reckons they were shifting X Powers at 40% discount so we are talking what £22,000 per car maybe?
Dealers were selling them for around £26,000 to punters at the time so possible seeing as Lease companies buy loads of them.

Whats interesting with these deals again is the Trophy long range is dearer, the extended range is a further £49 again.

Looks like any colour is included too (for September delivery) so not bad

Personally I'm not keen on 4 year lease deals and prefer shorter 2 year deals but thats just me ........... and this one is terrible on 2 years !!

I just got a bill for £18 for car tax from my lease company (Santander)

Yes mine is a 2 year deal, did not want a longer commit this time.
Wonder if i will get a car tax bill for mine with Alphabet.

In the terms it said road tax is included, but any increases to road tax are to be covered by the lease holder, so I guess going from 0 to 18 is classed as an increase

I just got a bill for £18 for car tax from my lease company (Santander)

My wife got a bill from Santander and when she queried it, they said it was the increase in car tax

If road tax, is included in the deal. And it rises, in the period of the lease. Surely the lease company should pay. Sounds like a bit of con to me. That doesn't happen with MoBo cars.

I guess they have to cover themselves for a big change but it does seem a bit petty for £18. This is VW Finance policy wording (on a personal lease) :-

"9.1 If you keep your side of this Agreement, until the Hiring Period ends or we terminate the hiring we will provide:-

9.1.1 road fund licence(s) for the Vehicle (provided that if the cost of the road fund licence goes up after the Agreement is made, you will pay us the amount of the increase when we ask)"

Yep, no doubt it's in the small print. But it's still a con. Wonder what they'd say if you told them, to shove it, where the sun don't, shine.
