Apologies for the new thread but I couldn't see this query addressed anywhere else.

My detailer has asked whether the black roof (on my green XPower) is painted black or is made of, or treated with, something else. If it isn't paint he won't treat is as planned.

I had assumed it's black paint. Anyone able to confirm?

Not paint.
Looks like a wrap/sticker.
Look at the gap between the hatch and the roof (when open) and you will see what I mean.
I treat it the same as the paint.

Cheers. Dealer has since told me it’s vinyl wrap.
