Its coming up to the anniversary of getting the Zappi installed having resisted it for almost 2 years so I thought I'd have a look at the data.
According to Octoaid I have paid Octopus £633 for 4433 kWh (less around £12 credit for free electricity) plus £173 standing charge. Of that 33% was at peak rate and 67% at off peak making an average unit cost of 14.28p. Surprisingly 25% of the total is down as SmartCharge, which to Octoaid is off peak prices outside the standard 23:30-05:30 slots.
According to MyEnergy we have self consumed 41% of the 3900 kWh our 4kW FiT solar generated, which I hope to improve on this year.
