Mg in the top 10👍👍

Interesting. It also says MG only offer one electric model, which of course is incorrect.

I know we are not in the EU anymore but companies need to untangle EU from the geography of Europe when writing press releases. That is just bad writing when they say MG only offers they should be saying MG Motor (EU) only offers... in the markets it operates in....

If you are looking for a new car you have endless choice ,but if like me you were looking for an EV ,the ZS EV has so much more to offer for the price that it had to be a strong contender . Not surprised MG in in top 10

Its the same as my son's T shirts that he buys . I reckon he pays £5 for the T shirt and £75 for the emblem

That MG badge is decades old and they have fitted it proudly on the grill .i would like it to be on when driving at night .think it would look cool.

It can’t be that difficult to wire up I wouldn’t have thought. Take the power feed from the headlamps? Would look cool.

I was looking at the SMMT website over the hols and seem to recall that only two brands had increased UK sales in 2020 over 2019. MG & Tesla, everyone else was down by at least double digits!

Well for those of us that are "older" in years gone by before Layland, BMC etc that amalgamated many older brands there was a company called Wolseley who's little badge on the grill did light up. If you find an old Wolseley now its worth quite a bit. I had a Wolseley Hornet (an upmarket mini) that was really nice car.
Here's one, but not mine 😞 Oh. and if I remember correctly you could have a AA or RAC grill badge that also illuminated up.

Unlike the later MGs which were just rebadged Rovers with ”sporty” trim in lieu of the full pipe and slipper treatment. Don’t get me wrong, as vehicles they were rebadged Rovers as opposed to something in their own right. That’s probably stirred up a nest of MG Hornets now I expect.

LOL. I had a MG Metro and a MG 1300, good accept the floor rotted through under drivers foot well.

MG started not as a motor car manufacturer but as an updater of existing cars.
Cecil Kimber would add the MG Super sport badge after tinkering with a Morris Oxford or similar. MG was born from there.

MG are just moving with the times .60s + 70s sports convertibles for the vast amount that couldn't afford an E type or a Healy .80s + 90s sports hatches saloons like Fords xr range , Vw gti s ,etc and nowadays the Suv is top of most families shopping list MG are there with the ZS and .EVs are i bit pricey so guess what , enter the ZS EV . British or chinese MG have been giving the public what it wants for decades.
