EV opposition in the media is ramping up

ITV West News this evening was reporting about the number of potholes, and I couldn't believe it when they actually said that heavier EV's were part of the problem!
That’s true - i knew there was something missing from that report when I saw it
Have “they” finally begin to add truth to their remit ??

It's the petrol tankers wot done it.
And all those vehicle transporters delivering cars to the dealerships . . . No, wait . . .

Think it might be 5 EVs in their top 10
But so what? Doesn't mean anything. 🙄
Ah, yes, I missed a few there. However, I was looking at the ones people could actually afford. I think the biggest culprit on that list is the Range Rover Chelsea Tractor, they're as common as muck. (Oh, and they burst into flames in car parks :))

On Tuesday I had a work colleague in my car as we were off on a works event, talk came round to EV's.

He said, only problem is the weight of EV's as it's damaging the roads.
I said look at the vehicles around us, a range rover, a 44tonne HGV and a transit van.

I asked which one he thought was the lightest:D
Oh err.

I quickly followed up by, you do realise when you fill up your fuel tank your BMW 320i is heavier than mine.

Queue the magically sound.......Oh err.

Then the rebuttal, but EVs put down their torque instantly.
This was 20 miles into our journey. so I asked when had I wheel spun at any point, because that's what happens when you use all the available torque.

Oh err.

Another prime example of Nofbo (NOn Factual Based Opinion). :)

This came up on my Youtube recommended. I haven't bothered to watch it because I don't want to give them the views. The title tells me everything though.
