Using the infotainment system while driving is quite distracting. What aspects of the car can be controlled via voice command, particularly the controls that are only accessed via the infotainment's touch screen?

We are talking ZS EV facelift Trophy I-Connect model in the U.K. I guess ?.
If so, the commands that are common knowledge here are :-
1 ) The ability to voice control the operation of the Sky ( Sun ) Roof.
2 ) Adjusting the cabin temperature via the climate control.
On a recent test drive in a Trophy i-connect, I did try voice commanding the electric windows to open / close but it did not respond to the command.

I assume the ismart app that works with the face lift MG ZS EV has come from the Indian version. On the Morris Garages web site they indicate that the version 2.0 of iSmart supports 100+ commands. "Want to know where the nearby charging stations are? Just ask your MG ZS EV that comes with 100+ voice commands." Not sure where these commands are detailed though?

In the UK we only have a very small number of face lift models here as of yet.
The majority are in the hands of the dealer network of roughly 150 dealers.
These are currently being used as Demo models.
There is only a very small percentage of face lift models in customers hands.
We don't really know how many voice control commands are available as of yet.
Only the sun roof and HVAC system is the known commands, to the best of my knowledge.
The original ( first Gen ) ZS EV never came equipped with an App in the U.K.
But in Thailand etc - they DID have App functionality.

... thanks for your reply. This is the only list of commands I've been able to find.

Not installed it (so don't know if it's any good), but there is an "MG Voice Commands" app in the Android Play store that supposedly lists all available voice commands... But for what cars, and in which countries, I don't know!

No doubt MG will release ‘additional features’ for the connect once they are satisfied that new owners have mastered ‘open sunroof’ and close ‘sun roof’.😁

In the U.K. market, the only model that has the ability to allow voice command control, is the new face lift model of the ZS EV.
Also, this is only available on the high spec Trophy I-Connect model and costs an additional £500 over the standard Trophy model.
The original ( Gen1 ) version of the ZS EV has NO App and therefore has no connection / control of any preheating etc etc.
And no - the Gen 1 version can not be upgraded to facilitate any of the facilities of the App.
The car is not equipped with any hardware that can allow the App to talk to the car.
In Thailand this is NOT the case.
The original ZS EV ( Gen 1 ) version does have a working App but NOT in the U.K.
