I asked the same question. I guess it’s a case of accepting losses to establish themselves. They probably have investors and money to burn 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think the t&c's have changed a bit so the price may change soon🤔

You just got yourself used as a referral by myself as you were the first code I noticed haha. £15 free is nice, but yeah, I imagine that the company will start to increase prices shortly considering the increasing cost of leccy... even supermarkets will have to start charging for their chargers soon enough... nothing is free forever.

Thank you.
My first one.
I wonder how long it take to show on the app.
No idea... but it is money off your refill charge which is the monthly subscription... So I am only going to see it if I ever decide to subscribe... which at the moment, it is not feasible for me to do so lol

Just received the email we were all expecting…

As we’re sure you know, costs are increasing across all industries, especially in the energy sector. We’ve done everything in our power to keep our prices at their current rates, but unfortunately the present climate means we have no choice but to raise them.

We also want to take this opportunity to reshuffle our Refill Package volumes in line with our user demands.

The new pricing and Refill volumes will impact UK users only.

From Wednesday 22nd June, Bonnet’s updated pricing and Refills in the UK will look like this:

As I've only rapid charged twice in the two and a half years I've owned my Kona, monthly subscriptions don't work for me.

Same here, can't justify a subscription for public charging networks. As the vast majority of my charging will be via excess solar generation at home, I'll take the hit when doing my infrequent journeys outside the range of the ZS.

Don't you go out in winter?

If he's like me, he will still be charging at home in winter, but then just do it on days / hours where the rate is lower.

There are times, even in winter, where the price is (was ?) lower than what you were able to get it at, at a public destination charger. (Atleast in Denmark)

Here, when the electricity cost nothing, we have to pay approx 17 pence in taxes and vat, and the cheapest 11KW destiantion chargers right now charge 40 pence for a kilowatt.

So as long as the price of the electricity stays below 18,5 pence (With added VAT those 18,5 pence will become 23 pence) it is cheaper to charge at home.

If you need to use a rapid, 50p is not too bad, not many cheaper at the moment.
No doubt, but bonnet was offering that same charger at 25p/kWh so it is a bit of a dick punch lol. I have found a rapid at an Aldi that is 24p/kWh so will probably use that if I have to

Just want to say I called it a couple days ago lol
