As we begin the next cold snap, here is a quick look at what the data in this thread tells us about the relationship between efficiency and temperature. Note this is only for the pre-facelift model and it includes both LR and SR (the latter being LFP so should be more affected by cold)...
I am still on the original Bridgestone tyres on my pre-FL MG5 LR (2022). I have 22,000miles. I rotated the front tyres to the rears after 17,000miles and I expect to get another 15-20k miles out of the tyres as they are.
The way to think about this is that the front tyres do all of the work...
My monthly mileage and my monthly AC charge to 100%. Moved house this month and am renting without a home charger for the moment, so living with a granny charger only. Looking forward to moving again and installing a proper home charger.
Finally getting round to rotating my tyres after 18k miles, and the fronts are so far gone they basically need to be replaced. Rears are brand new. Is this typical?
A cold month, and I felt I used AC a lot in the first half of the month - the dog was near constantly wet and in the boot. Dryer toward the end of the month but still often very cold on my commutes. This morning varied between -5 and -4 degC. Brr!
