Shame we can't do the class action thing the US do. I have a lot of spare time and money to chase this. The proving it is unsatisfactory is the difficult part.

I asked the dealership to respond in an email to explain their diagnosis. No response. Also logged a complaint with Mg customer services, no response yet.

I heard it today while at a set of lights and moving slowly. I am not gonna bother asking my local MG dealer as they are useless.

Yes this explains it perfectly! Even a slight bend and it brakes. It slowed down on a straight road today and I guess the sun hit the sensor or something. Not sure what happened.

I think it is because the mg can only see directly in front of itself so it is blind when the steering wheel is slightly turned

On my mg4 I use it around town. If there is a band use the accelerator to let it know that it is ok and it picks up and continues when straight again

Can I ask, did it ever fall off or do you need to replace the sticky stuff every so often?

Only had the car two weeks but one of those it was away for a PPF wrap. So yeah drove it a few days. No other cars try, not even Teslas which have a chance of beating me.
