Mine has just been for its first service. Software version R61 was also installed (was R46). Haven't checked the star keys or ACC yet but the infotainment screen has behaved much better and now has the DMS on/off button on the swipe down view - which is very handy.
Hi Keith. The 20-80% is based on the old battery chemistry, these are LFP's and are quite happy being charged to 100% regularly (just avoid it sitting at 100% for days, but even then the degradation will be tiny over the life of the battery which will probably outlast the car itself).
Yes I...
With 71% already in the battery, telling Ohme to add 30% will mean it charges up to 100% and then stops. Ohme doesn't integrate with the MG iSmart app so cant tell how much the battery actually has. (I usually apply an extra 5% anyway to my intended target to be on the safe side).
LFP batteries...
I too had a Skoda Octavia IV PHEV before my MG HS PHEV, the MG is so much smoother. There's a video on the Roewe website that includes shots of the 2 speed gearbox working (oddly the petrol engine seems to run in pairs of cylinders).

Yes you will need to calculate it each time, Ohme doesn't integrate with the MG app (so far) so Ohme can't read how full your battery is. When I had my Octavia the Ohme did integrate but wasn't very consistent or reliable and I believe Skoda have since blocked third party access because it was...
Hi Paul, item 1 as already mentioned is by design but still annoying, you can also swipe down the home screen to turn on sensors when parking forwards.
Likewise with Aerofurb, the petrol range varies wildly, seems to use current mpg to project a range but that's constantly changing, so I ignore...
The Roewe D5X-dmh is the Chinese version. They have an interesting video about the PHEV on their web page (https://www.roewe.com.cn/vehicles/d5x-dmh/#) Try visiting it via Chrome browser and letting Google translate the page for you. I believe it uses the Miller petrol engine cycle (as opposed...
My dealer suspects the V2L on the HS was a 'wish' by MG that hasn't actually made it through to production (or was just for a very early batch) as he doesn't know anyone that's made it work. Price for a V2L lead from MG was £280 so I didn't fancy lashing out that much to test it.
