Ok, so I got the Vgate icar pro adapter and was eager to get going. Plugged it in, paired, opened Torque pro and slected the new adapter, connected to the adapter but still refuses to see the ECU. I can't fathom my head round it. Other owners using the same adapter and app got theirs working...

Car went in, new radio module, all sorted. Also sorted a rattle from under the car, turns out to be heat shield loose on rear brakes. All fixed musix resumed :)

So, after wanting to get more info from the car and to track trips, data, SOH, etc, and having used PHEV Watchdog from Daniel Santos for years. I offered to have me MG5 LR as a test to gather data for him to put into an app for us, so I plugged in one of my OBD II readers to the car, but alas...

Investigation and Diagnosis done. It's booked back in to have module changed.

Drove to Bridlington on Sunday, spotted 2 team red MG5s one going too and one coming from. Also stopped at a Tescos in Market Weighton and took a cheeky free charge, and look who was my company. Go team bland!😆👍

One thing I have noticed about auto hold is it keeps the brake light on when in use and is holding the vehicle. Ah, old news, Petriixs' post already told you that 😄😄🥴

The battery thing didn't work, so it's booked in 🙄
