It could be that the vehicle behind you came in too fast towards you. Its called Rear Collision Warning and states "Alarm Mode . When there is a risk of collision, the hazard warning lamps on your vehicle flash to warn the vehicles behind".
Set the screen brightness you want for daylight. Turn on the headlights and set the screen brightness you want for night time. Next time you drive at night it should automatically switch over. It does for me.
Go into the settings screen, adjust your preferred brightness for daytime. Switch on the headlights, then adjust brightness for night time. Now when the lights come on you should have a dimmer screen.
The symbols above used to scroll over on the MG4 so I could go into setting and change for example, the tyre pressures from lbs/sq ins to bar. I don't know how to do that now.
