Only charging at 45kW max. on 350kW charger.

Can say the same. Most i've seen is ~65kW on ionity with little bit of preheating. Mind you, this car was rated for 117kW in Europe. Where did they get that number, i don't know. I think battery has to be pretty low and pretty well heated up to charge "fast".

    Range Improving with weather

The weather does amazing things; less aero drag, no heating, less capacity loss due to temparature (especially on lfp cars). AC draws a lot less power in the summer compared to heating. I'd say ~22-25°C is the ideal temp for rangemaxxing. Cold enough to still be bearable without AC and hot...

Slightly pathetic data limitation - 1GB, MG4 Trophy

Not so academic, when you start sideloading apps and allow them to use data. Then that 1GB is very smol

    Charging Anxiety

Get your car fully updated. Newer updates solved a lot of connecting issues people had at DCFC. As for chargers; use ABRP. Tons of info and you get an accurate trip estimation.

    Battery Pre-conditioning

The poblem is, that this "intelligent heating" isn't intelligent at all and will keep the battery always warm, regardless if you drive to a charging station or not. That in turn means your consumption will be higher, especially in winter

Found: MG4 Standard Range with heated seating

Maybe this is specific to colder markets? There are other differences as well (like UK cars not getting 3ph OBC for example or heatpumps). Maybe they decided that NL buyers will want better heating on base models, so they added that in. And to simplify, they used luxury spec wheel with heated...

    MG4 Software Update Thread

Wasn't there a consensus, that LFP cars don't actually report real SOH over OBD, but just a calculated (-0,01%/day) value? For example; if you compare estimated full WLTP range (once you reset the computer it defaults to that) with the actual new car WLTP range, the range is actually much...

    Happy with my range.

This is also more apperent with MG4, as it has pretty weak aero. So you get penalized more when driving faster, than other, more aero friendly cars. But if you eliminate aero (or reduce it effect a lot) by doing the hypermile behind the lorry type driving, car gets very efficient, especially...

    Tyre replacement recommendations

I'm very happy with Falken's e.Ziex. If you're after absolute efficiency, that's the way to go right now. Still pretty good grip for an eco tire and not that expensive.

R67 update new navigation option EV-route

You can also buy an obd dongle for your MG4 and feed data to the ABRP that way. It's not as convenient as the API option, but you could use it just to train the ABRP a little bit, so it knows your car and your driving style. This way you get an accurate reference consumption, so you use that to...

R67 update new navigation option EV-route

it's pretty easy actually https://xdaforums.com/t/mg4-electric-aaos-9-playing-and-possibly-other-mg-models.4697712/ As for data feeding; that requires a bit more setup, as you need a linux based server to get that script working. Usually th easiest path is via homeassistant, as it only takes an...
