I was tracking the free version, it still shows version 1.7.2121jul22 here, LSJW VIN's dont work for that one. I've since joined the OVMS camp as I was able to get my hands on one really for only €50

kind of decent of them to not show the degrees as it implies climate control while in fact it isnt and only shows numerically what position the dial is in

i'm told that this was discussed on a MG facebook group somewhere. the change is only visual, no magic free climate control update. middle of the slider only showing as 22*C etc.

To answer my own question: my OVMS box is up and running, no issues with 092660R12. Doesn't trigger the alarm? Looking through the edge release notes, the last MG stuff was added May 2nd.

as for seeing how it works, with an OBD dongle and an app like Torque Pro you can monitor the temperature of the battery

battery heater sounds like a great option to have and might be useful to precondition the battery for fast charging. following this thread :)

it's no longer working for me, tells me I need to upgrade to premium. android auto user. version 4.0.50 (520) it says so in the app [on your phone] when tap on the version number " EV navigation in your car screen - a Premium feature"

shame the Android Auto part of ABRP turns out to be a premium feature. That's a deal breaker for me.
