So we don't need to stand out in the rain any more! Thanks everyone - it only arises when we stray too far from home. Still having range anxiety when miles left gets below 40.
Normally we inly charge at home but have strayed away for a break. Whilst at a fast charger we noticed a non-MG charging alongside with the driver sat in. Can we do this! Is it considered "safe practice"?
I've also experienced the car charging, evidenced by the car and charger apps, but not displaying green or blue lights on the car socket.
Still haven't sussed out whether to lock the car before or after inserting the plug.
When we bought our MG4 last year we were stung for £700 comp cover. This year's renewal was dlightly less but we shopped around on an old fogeys' site and got comp cover with LV for just over £400, with free rescue if you run out of battery!

We ordered car mats from CarMats.co.uk having watched the videos on their site. They manufacture to order, based on your EV model. Took a week or so to receive the order but extremely happy with the quality and fit.
Sometimes when driving we get the warning beep and dashboard light warning that the boot isn't shut. It will open without squeezing the release button. On some occasions it is resolved by stopping and slamming it shut but not always. Trying to check if is secure is a pain either because the...
We paid a bit under £1k for our 7kW charger having had to pay to have an additional new meter box installed and our PV meter moved in to it, along with the charger's fuse board. The charger gives us 5 hours off-peak at 8.5p a unit. Assuming 4 miles per kWh 1000 miles would cost £21.25, cheaper...
