Quite agree, and I think they will end up doing something ( or perhaps I just have too much faith in companies to do the right thing!), but I just wanted to point out where they had said they won't be recalling vehicles, although I do accept they just say the upcoming fix won't be on owned cars...

If you look back and read the link I posted, I think the second entry in this thread, MG quite clearly say they will make a fix for new cars, and are not planning to touch cars already in ownership.

Welcome to the forum! Mine often waits a second or so to work if I've only lowered the window for a few seconds. I've never had it fail for a long time though. Sounds like a fault that will need looking at.

I certainly hope they do carry out a recall as apart from the obvious safety issue I imagine this will affect the resale value of our cars.

I think that is a dealer thing. No idea what any of that means, how you would fix it or why it has happened!

I've not tried it while not in drive, once I'm driving I always keep it in drive, either just holding the car on Auto Hold or manually pulling the parking brake up (To avoid blinding someone behind with my brake lights at night and rain etc) I'll check when I'm in the car next if it works while...

Certainly sounds like a problem. Might not be with the head unit, it could be a DAB aerial issue?

When you bring the camera up by either selecting reverse or using the Left steering wheel button (which is what I have mine programmed to) you get a view showing two screens. One is the reverse camera and one shows a view from above in a smaller window. That screen has a settings icon in the top...

No that isn't normal! Not sure how that happens!

Not sure if it was sun related, but mine has done this a couple of times. A reset by pressing the home button for 10 seconds cures it. If it continues to do it often, a visit to your dealer is in order!

Those beeps will be cured by going into sat nav settings, warnings, and switching ALL alerts to visual only. The beeps will sound even if nowhere near cameras if you are even on a road with them. Some of the beeps will be because you are in urban areas, near schools, dangerous areas, etc etc...

Its a setting using the icon that is in the overhead camera screen when the cameras are on. Its called " Steer with peace of mind" or similar! It should put the screen on if stationary with indicators on. It also lowers the sound coming from your speakers while it shows up. I've decided that...

When I've had to factory reset my centre screen, or when software updates were installed, it has always varied a lot as to when I got the icons. Sometimes they were almost instant, other times they took weeks! No logic!

Just checking.. i assume you have pressed the on screen button at the lower right, the 3 lines with a 'S' in it? All your stations should be in there.
