I've been experiencing this issue consistently, and it seems to occur more frequently during rainy or cold weather. I've noticed that applying pressure to the tablier makes the noise stop.
Has anyone else encountered a similar problem?
If so...
Guys I sometimes hear that click noise when I break during driving as well. Not always....
I am pretty sure they are correct with this one. The noise comes from the breaking pads...
However not sure if that is normal still...lol
It looks like their customer service doesnt exist and they can do whatever they want and get away with it.
Really annoying... I am having the same problems with MG.
They do not reply to anyone because they just dont care.
There should be legal consequences
Update.
Dealer told me that MG told them that noise is "Normal" when you first press the break pedal after switching from D to R and vice versa. It's the breaking pads doing that noise. They could use some grease but the sound would start again after some time
Hello guys,
I got a MG ZS and when I am parking and changing from D to R and vice versa I hear a crack/click noise coming from the front of the car when I start to accelarate.
Just wanted to ask if that is normal or not ?
Thanks
To be honest thats their problem and if they dont listen to us on our contacts with them I thing we should make our voice to be heard by exposing that on their google reviews page. At least everyone will have access to that information and maybe they are forced to do something.
That is true and I also think it's an installation issue for the exact same reasons. However this is really bad publicity for a brand that its trying to reborn again.. they should be worried about it and address the issue.
I feel that they just dont care...what does that say about them?
I am surprised I haven't seen that issue reported on their Google Reviews.
If you google for "MG Motor Europe" you don't see any reference to that.
Maybe if they get those reviews they will start doing something about the problem.
