Top Gear claims cant preheat cabin

I am sure some reviewers who have driven BMWs for a long time will conclude the indicators on all cars don’t work.

Cybester a ok car as just a "summer car" and will survive long periods of storage ?

Quick update I had rusty disks after leaving the car for over a month. Took quite a bit of driving to stop the noise on one wheel.

    Everything Electric

As per the post at the top of the forum I am off to Everything Electric on Thursday 17th. I won’t be taking my Cyberster or MG5 but it would be great to meet other owners. If you are going please DM me @leomindel

New Cyberster Owner - Drive to Switzerland

In my experience no built in maps are any good. They are an example of how behind the car industry is in innovation, the same way some traditional manufacturers were still installing CD players. CarPlay and android auto is so much better. The only exception is Tesla but they only show...

New Cyberster Owner - Drive to Switzerland

Yep it just needs to roughly know what battery size and plug. Once connected with OBD you can then compare the range on ABRP with the onboard guessometer

I went with Bip&Go as it also covers Italy, Spain and Portugal.

New Cyberster Owner - Drive to Switzerland

This is the one I bought. There are lots of others but this one works for me. I changes ABRP into a dynamic app. https://amzn.eu/d/2MHH2yI

Do you have a OBD2 scanner ? I find it works great with one.

New Cyberster Owner - Drive to Switzerland

In my view ABRP is a must. Linked to a Bluetooth OBD2 I get real time range, charging locations with stall availability. All add up to less stress as I know where to stop or if I can keep going.

New Cyberster Owner - Drive to Switzerland

Good report. The only main difference I do is plug the ABRP destination into Waze and do the actual navigation in Waze. The inbuilt maps are like using a Nokia phone to connect to the internet.

RFID cards, why do they exist? (and how many do I need)

I also mainly use the Electroverse card however I also have the charge map RFID card a Tesla account and signed up for a few apps in France and Italy. Electroverse turned out cheaper than the Italian ones. On road trips best to have multiple options even if you only end up using the...

    Trophy vs GT

This very well sums up why we went for the GT and why we are touring with it. In comfort mode I do not think it will be any difference in terms of reaching the next charger destination in Europe. Enjoy your choice.
