Yep when I got in the car it would tell me the weather as a kind of greeting with that setting on.

The option to speak out the weather info is within the weather app itself from memory.

Pressing the voice button to talk to the car (not AA) and then cancelling it (by pressing the button again) fixes the volume issue for me. I used to get it after the car's voice to text would give the weather info. I've since turned that off.

I don't know how that works when they are interstate. I took it as a life lesson to do some research on a company if they don't have the usual PayPal or credit card options.

Yes for credit cards but they no longer accept them. Was a bank transfer which I lodged a claim but was not successful.

The MG voice greeting will do this to me sometimes. I press the voice button to activate it and then again to disable it and my music volume returns.
