Has anyone experienced this? only seems to of happened to the drivers side hub caps currently. back wheel worst front less so.

Yes this happened to my ZS ev on all 4 wheels. I attempted to get it registered as a warranty claim, but as the car was more than a year old my claim was denied. I wasn't impressed.View attachment 36607

i had the same problem with my ZS 2022 L/Range had from new,never used a car wash until car 1.5 years then noticed like a laquer peeling I was advised by this helpful forum that it was the liquid they clean the wheels with!View attachment 36607

Not that I buy this as a reason at all, but if that was the case, then are we saying the product isn't fit for purpose?Probably got hit with lots of stones that are put on the roads in the UK with salt in the winter. That will compromise the clear coat and paint layers allowing corrosion. Amolicied by cars passing ghe ogher way on ghe driver's side.
Not at all, just like stone chips are much more possible on the front of the car during these winter condtions and nothing to do with the manufacturer or warranty cover. Any damagae to do with paint/clear coat will only be covered by warranty if the damage is coming from behind the paint outwards, not from the top of the paint inwards and the scenario I decribed is the latter.Not that I buy this as a reason at all, but if that was the case, then are we saying the product isn't fit for purpose?
