I've found that scratching a gate catch down each side of the car while reversing, and scratching and crunching all four corners of the car really helps keep the thieves away. It also makes sure the residual value of the car is rock bottom, and who wouldn't want that?!?! 😭
I’m talking about battery heating to get that last 2%, it sounds like it took quite a while to get those last 1.234kWh of power into the battery and most probably a lot more electrons for a tiny bit extra range.

I had this same issue, never noticed it before and haven’t changed the tires our pressures, as you say only while doing motorway speeds but it was very frustrating.
I see that Tesla have opened their first V4 superchargers and these are designed to work with any CCS car…I wondered if that includes the humble MG5? I know they are blocked from other Superchargers for being too slow to respond!

Having just had to change my fronts at 19k after the tracking went out and I ended up with them worn down on the outer edge. I just got them changed like for like but they were £125 each! I’ll be keen to see you results.
I still use the S mode from time to time as the response is fun. However I also made the mistake of putting it in Sports mode after some light rain and, while waiting at the lights, didn’t realise one of my front tyres was on a wet man-hole cover! First and only time I’ve smelt my own rubber!
