Hi - just as a cross post, same arrangement on our MG HS PHEV and it’s caused the tailgate to rust badly At less than 2 years. The whole number plate mounting arrangement is very amateur.

You might be right. I thought the black plastic holder was for a Chinese square plate but the top 2 holes of the tailgate aren’t used at all. The U.K. plastic plate has been stuck to the black holder (bottom pic shows it stuck on) AND then screwed on too, which it absolutely didn’t need...

Just a solution for once :) and a stupid stereo question... I had disconnected my daughters bluetooth phone from the system as she kept playing the WORST music all the time, and noted that you can't then reconnect again... a little bit of trying (and a review of the hapless manual) and it seems...

Yup mine does that too, bit of a glaring issue tbh. I consciously only switch to EV in town and villages, the EV bit isn't great for dual carriageways. I've had the software updated but made no difference.

Hi all, I have the brightness set to auto on the centre infotainment system, but it seems to be sticking on super bright day mode at night, so bright I keep the darker HVAC screen on. Any ideas? TIA David

As we have a LEAF too, I would note that in winter I have seen the LEAF pull 20 miles of range to power the heater, which on a PHEV would make it pretty much useless... preheat is good though IF, and it's a big IF, you can get the app to work as it was very flaky.
