Maybe they think TBOX is only updatable with USB. But it's really like FICM : MPU from USB and MCU from SIPS. It's different for MY24 version where it's supposed to be only SIPS to make all updates.

You can but you could face some 4G issues. As far as I know, it works an old MCU with an updated MPU.

No first MPU. There is a message when you try to update MCU when MPU isn't up to date. Last MPU is SNAKP23E32 for MY22 and MY23

MCU is still there for SWI69 build (R33, R38, R40, R42) But not for SWI68 build since R63

As I said, you can roll back to R46 or R59 because MCU is still in USB files for those updates

Just for remember: for SE/SE ER/Standard/Comfort with build SWI69, FICM MPU and MCU updates could be perform by USB. For Trophy/Luxury with build SWI68, FICM MCU can be only updated with SIPS since R59 update. So for R63, R67, R69, SIPS is mandatory. What you can do : revert to R46 for MPU and...

What are your sources please? FICM MPU never enhance ECU like ACC or LKA. Persistant bar was release in 2023 with R46 ans AEB and FCW were fixed in 2024. For me, it's only few cosmetics fixes or few infotainment improvement.
