    Clicking in drivers footwell

Hi, Did you get to the bottom of the clicking noise ? I don’t believe the camera theory either as it only really does it at lower speeds as soon as you go over say 35mph no clicking ! So if it was a camera heater that wouldn’t affect the difference of speed . Bloody annoying though

I've never had such a bad car. MG5 EV

This is a total wind-up ! I have owned 2x MG5 LR and never had any issues that you’re describing or even heard of anyone else for that matter .

    Stunned !

Yee have little faith ! Who would have thought a 15-16 plate VW golf would make 16k when it should be 9-10k ! The fact is everything is supply and demand the MG5 is now taking over the Prius market for taxi’s so good low mileage cars will always be in demand ,I think the market has been flooded...

    Stunned !

So far I have owned a 22 plate LR exclusive and I currently own A 72 plate LR exclusive ,sold the 22 plate for the same as I purchased it and although all cars have definitely dropped a bit (as they should ) people should not panic as these cars are way better than any other car in its price...

    Clicking in drivers footwell

Was hoping that someone has already figured out what it is which would be a lot easier to get it sorted out and advise the dealer next time it’s in for a service ! the clicking noise is definitely coming from the drivers footwell bottom of drivers door area .

    Clicking in drivers footwell

Agreed definitely not the steering column ! I would say it’s a relay but for what ? and why does it need to be clicking on and off randomly ,I am sure there’s a simple answer but is there a fix Or maybe find the offending relay and put some sound deadening over it !

    Clicking in drivers footwell

Off and on intermittently it was only on the odd occasion when new but seems more frequently now , doesn’t seem to be a pattern just annoying.

    Clicking in drivers footwell

Does anyone know what causes the clicking noise coming from the drivers footwell , I have a 2022 MG5 LR sound’s like a relay clicking and mainly does it at slower speed’s doesn’t do it when you are driving above 40-50mph or more so I thought it may be the regen breaking but still does it even...

Battery Heater - MG5 LR Exclusive

I am sure reading the book somewhere having the battery heating on only applies when the car is plugged in !

Bit of reassurance for the MG5

As a company car the MG5 trophy makes more sense as it has been tweaked to give a bit more modern feel the running gear and suspension remains the same as there wasn’t much wrong with it in the first place ! I purchased a brand new MG5 exclusive long range for £26495.00 and for that money it’s a...

Bit of reassurance for the MG5

I recently had an id4 for a day and was glad to get back into my MG5 ! Just because something looks more modern does not make it a better driving or feel good car ! The 5 feels like a VW Golf estate but much quicker and does everything you need it to do with ease ,I am fortunate to be able to...

Estimated miles went down dramatically after I charged it

I estimated getting on average 250 miles considering mainly town miles the 300 was the computers estimate based on driving history ! Which I also believe would be hard to achieve. but I still believe it’s the best EV for the money and I think it’s a great 1st EV to start with before spending out...
