I too was told back in October that the BMS update from the summer wasn't showing for my vin. I wanted it as I had no delayed charging. They installed a separate one for the issue with Rolec chargers and that worked. Unfortunately just on the mouth of Christmas it stopped working again...but...

Just had a reply from ev.energy and they are saying the problem is not with them. Contacted the dealer and they are talking to MG to see what they say.

Came across a guy in Facebook group with same problem. ev.energy apparently have acknowledged a problem and are working on a fix for the charger.

I posted a few months back on this and the issue was resolved with an update specific to Rolec home chargers. Over the last few days though the issue has returned and I can no longer "smart charge". I tried tripping the charger but no joy. We also have a Nissan Leaf and smart charging works...

I can only charge if locked. If I open it stops and restarts when I lock again. Like I said above, something went in because I can delay charge with the granny cable but not the charger
