I have made my own inserts to replace the OEM covers, thus spare the covers from being damaged. Also I can design my own covers to suit what I like. These are printed in ABS (do no use PLA or PETG) as anything other than High temp materials is likely to warp on hot days and fall off.

I have now also created a set of inserts for a white MG4. See pix attached. Also post same pix on another post as well. I also looking at creating a set which can glow in the dark (Green/Blue) while in the day they appear green or blue, this will be way cool to see at night.

I have an Anycubic Kobra 2 Max which I have used to print my car wheel inserts. The current set on my Orange Long Range 77 look really cool and a White Essence 64 now has Green/Purple one. Attached are pix of the inserts on the White MG4.

The real reason are insurance companies who are driving the changes, since if you don't them they can claim you were at fault with no evidence to support your claims in an accident.
