    MG5 trophy 61kWh 22 Reg 10,800 miles

Thank you. Interesting when I have eventually found someone that " knows" stuff at the dealer. He is saying. the bushes are ok for now, will not fail completely, if degrade more ARE coverd by warranty. SO just about to have a look myself, at the very least I will VERY lightly grease them, IF...

    MG5 trophy 61kWh 22 Reg 10,800 miles

Hi All, now 3 years into ownership, car has been excellent- shame the reasons for buying have been negated by exessive away from home charging costs and road tax( but bought in late March 25 so saved 11? Months tax). The car has just had it's 1st mot. BOTH front suspension lower arm bushes are...

Should I replace my PR-FL excite with a new MG5 (probably SE)??

A month ago, I was contacted by my MG dealer, if I would be interested in trading in for a new day @ year 2 - end May 24. But though we got really good ( excellent)prices with both our ICE engines cars. Our MG5 LR is valued at £16,000 at most, so a loss of £14,500 ( did get a free spare wheel)...

    Tricky Chargers

I bought my MG5 LR with the intention (when electric charging was reasonable) to charge at home. The few times I get a charge away from home, I ponder if I should have kept my 65mpg Citroen Berlingo. It has to be a really special trip to go beyond the 100 (winter) and 130 (summer) max each way...

Thanks Maskull, appreciated- it could be as you said iffy foot on brake. It was odd that I could not turn off the car SO I guess I confused it. Are you aware of any knowledge degradation of the +vehicle and -ve 12V battery terminals. And treat as IC batter IE earth off 1st on last - NO...

Just tried to move the car this morning- moved it 4 feet ok. Tried moving it again " traction battery" not connected. The 12V battery was showing 12V/ 11.9V bothered and green 12V battery symbols showing It did not easily turn off by the stop/ start. After about 12 times of turning off and lots...

    Ventilation / Condensation

If the materials in the car are damp or wet this may make condensation worse.Difgicukt to dry.One tip is to try and keep your vehicle parked in the sun whenever you can and if safe open the windows on sunny days. Also if removable carpets are damp dry them out.

so.. who misses their ICE car....

For info how economical is your Rio? I had a 2016 i20 2.1 D. 1st 28 months AVG 62 mpg. All this time something was amiss. Eventually by default (an ex Peugeot technician arrived at the Hyundai dealership) it was sorted - too much/often diesel was "cleaning" the catalyser. The last 18 months AVG...

MG5 Pre facelift (LR) tyre choices

For interest that does seem a high mileage for tyres, I would expect 20,000 minimum. Thete is a youtuber using our version as a van for electric car repairing ( so pretty loaded) and had achieved 40,000 plus miles on 1st set of tyres. If that is your norm, maybe worth swapping corners back/...
