I turned off Intelligent Heating, and the Energy Consumption Display returned to normal. This is clearly a software bug. Do MG have a process for reporting bugs?

Thanks for the suggestion. I probably switched that on as part of trying to sort out the overnight charging problems, ie, maybe it wasn't starting to charge because it thought the battery wasn't warm enough. I've got a trip tomorrow and I'll be charging on Saturday night, so I'll switch that off...
