I did find this, just seemed silly that it wasn’t contained in the actual quote to give an idea of what you were getting rather than have it elsewhere on the website. A bit like the car I suppose, basic stuff but a good price.
The online quote on the MG website is handy, but gives no information of what each service entails. For 3 years it is quoting £188 for the services (£27, £98 and £63) comes to £220 with charges etc giving payments of around £8 a month. Would be nice to know exactly what it includes though.
If you are wanting to cover a new floor there are loads of places to pick up carpet on eBay, usually listed as acoustic carpet by the modifying brigade for using on their bass bins or lining carpet for the van modifiers making their own camper vans. Mind you, if mine looked as smart as the...
It is back home. No fault showing under testing but MG are shipping a replacement part (presumably a new sensor) to be fitted once it has flown its way over here. Mangoletsi were superb as always and worked hard to get answers from mg despite the time differences.
Car went in to garage yesterday as it still fails to distinguish between night and day, meaning the main headlights are always on. The garage have tested everything but can find no fault. We now await a response from mg in china. Fingers crossed.
I suspect the answer lies hidden. There may well be supporting structure that we can’t see increasing the load rating rather than the difference being the less crucial rails on the surface.
Haven’t found one. The manual just states (very regularly) that child seats shouldn’t be placed on the front seat. Must confess I’ve never used the deactivation switch on any car I’ve had as I always put the kids in the back. Seems strange not to fit one, but then I always thought the idea of...
Possibility to raise boot floor? Looks like a crease along the floor about the same width as the fittings suggesting the ability to lift it whilst the back stays in place?
Exactly that. I have the charging cable and emergency gear in the wheel well. Then flimsy floor with my running stuff on that and a wooden floor on top as the actual floor for kids bags, shopping etc. I find it invaluable as I always have my stuff but at the same time I always have a clear floor...
If you want to raise the floor any old boards will do. 1040mm x 150mm for front and back. 730mm x 150mm for the sides. I just used some modesty blocks to hold them in place. Then the whole lot can be taken out if I need the whole boot as one space. If I hadn’t already cobbled together my own...
As an added bonus you can carry all your running gear and other stuff under the raised floor, but it still gives an empty loading area for the kids to throw school bags from 15 yards. Best thing I did with mine.
It seems to allow selection of kers 3 at different values depending on who knows what factors I have been able to get it at 99 some days and been frozen a out until 94 on others. I would say that the effect of kers 3 doesn’t really get close to the full effect until you drop under 80%.
