Nothing to do with leaving your phone. ABRP runs on your phone, not in the car/play

I use "my position" as the starting point and I do not stop navigation when I leave the car, not even for staying at the hotel for the night. If you stop navigation and replan, then it will obviously route to past stops as they are still in the plan

It's a matter of you feeling good about being annoyed or not. I just ignore what I don't like. I don't bother turning off sign recon or LKA. the bad they are doing is less than the conscious effort of (remembering) to turn them off. But you are right, neither is doing any good to me

As already said, yes it crap. Save your senses, worry no more about it. You don't even need to turn it off, just ignore it.

I'd say standard behaviour for all remotely accessible cars. To avoid drainage of the 12V battery, the car goes more and more to sleep

Oh yes! I left my car for 7 weeks while in the hospital. And I did not notice any loss of charge

I use the same dongle as siteguru and I use it for ABRP. works fine 99.5% of the time. Only snag is that it can't be connected when I lock the car, as it sets off the alarm. I have worked around this by using a OBD2 cable with an on/off switch
