Lots of them on the roads now but not many EV - yet!

There are 2 Instavolts at McDonalds in Ryde - near Tesco. I have not used them myself as I charge at home, but I assume that they are working.

I drive an MG5 had mine 3 months and I am actively buying MG5 and ZS for our car dealer in Uttoxeter purchased an MG5 on Friday sold it this morning
 
I live in small rural area in North Wales, I regularly see a black MG5 being used as a Taxi from a town close by.
Also, I see another MG5 ( private use ) passing our local primary school.
I have also seen a white ZS EV face lift pass by the school at finishing time.
Had a wave from the owner, while sitting waiting for our grand daughters in our blue ZS EV LR.
There is a Polar rapid located in a hotel car park, just a couple of miles away.
Maybe somebody taking a short cut use the charger ?.
We have a local Tesco supermarket that offers four EV spaces with free charging.
That’s the place if you want to to go “EV Spotting”.
Like bee’s returning to the hive !.
The four spaces are always in use.

I used to drive a motorhome and it is customary for motorhomers to give wave as thy pass each other as it is for motorcyclists. I did wonder if waving at other EV drivers might be come a thing! Maybe i'll give it a try!

i managed to completely blank a fellow MG5 driver (same colour as mine as well!) in Amberly car park as i busy was sorting the kids, only clocked them leaving the carpark just before me. felt bad about that one!

the only other times i havent waved is when i thought the oncoming car was a VW Passat until it was too close :D
 
I think I've seen maybe 5 in the last 8-9 months

I've seen more Tesla taxis than MG5s :confused:
I see a fair few ZS around but only very rarely the EV model
 
I agree there not a huge presence of MG5’s on the road but certainly not uncommon, I still get people occasionally doing a double take, lots of ZSEV’s though, The MG5 is a great car and I really enjoy driving mine however it doesn’t exactly stand out from the crowd.
The facelift model together with the MG4 will bring the brand bang up to date although I actually like driving something that’s not common.

The MG5 I picked up last week is a 2022 pre-facelift model but I actually prefer the look of it to the facelift. Each to their own though.
 
Well Hampshire should see a lot more in a few weeks as mine and others are due to hit Portsmouth beginning of September 😁
