When trying to start charging today, it failed. when i was going to move over and try another one, the HV battery disclnnected, and then the car is stuck in ON-mode, but cant drive. Lights are on, infotainment panel is working. But cant turn it off.
Any ideas?

I'd try disconnecting the 12V battery, leave it for a few minutes and then reconnect. The system will probably reboot itself and clear the problem.

Solution
Good that it worked. Slightly worrying because dc-dc converter may be still trying to charge 12Vd battery an may not like it being disconnected.
A case for the big red button suggested previously!

You can't beat the old turn it off and then turn it back on again trick.
Haha yes! Im

So, does charging HV battery charge 12V as well? The dealer said it didn't 😅

All sounds a bit worrisome I stopped to pickup my wife from work turned off but left infotainment system on. 5 mins later tried to start and go with no response it even locked the steering. Everything still on and radio working.
only thing that I noticed was the battery had dropped 2 notches to just below 12V. I just waited 10 mins and about to ring the garage when it all rebooted and was ok. ??

You need to keep car on when running radio as if not you are drawing from the 12V battery. Had same problem in the past with my ICE Honda CR-V. Sat eating a Tesco meal deal and then car would not start - flattish battery!.

It occasionally gets a bit confused. Maybe you didn't have your foot on the brake hard enough, maybe being in "on" mode (as opposed to ready mode, what would be accessories mode in most cars) just timed out as you tried to go to ready. No need to wait 5 minutes, just try again right away.

That exactly happened to me, about to leave my home. When I took my foot off the brake (unconsciously) and pressed the Start/Stop button it turned off. Waited 10 seconds and it re-started correctly.

I had a similar thing happen using V2L- turns out I got stuck in an acc-ready loop cause I was trying to turn off with my foot on the brake. Glad the 12V disconnect worked, but just in case you can try power cycling with foot off brake, might do the trick (I was in my garage and was very very close to panic calling the roadside people! I couldn't unplug the V2L with the car running and it's technically third party so that might have caused issues).
