Morning everyone, I have a mg zs ev trophy 2022 . The rear windscreen washer is not releasing water. I thoughta maybe a blocked nozzle but cant locate it !

Also, I'm finding the reverse camera is a bit hit and miss, it doesn't always come on automatically. Same for the front parking sensors, sometimes no beeps at all. I always make sure they're clean, so it's not that.
Many thanks 😊

Is the front washer jets working correctly as I think they both fed from the same water tank and even the same pump.
Can you hear the pump spinning when you ask for water 💦 at the jets ?.
If you can hear water being pumped it could be that one of the pipes has detached itself.
A members have had this on the MG5.
There is water in the tank of course ?.
I am assuming you mean REAR parking sensors not front as there is none.

Hi, tank full, front ones work perfectly and I can hear the motor whirring.
Was working fine until a few days ago

Yes I meant rear ! Busy morning 🙄.

The reversing camera doesn't always come on when reversing either

After a hard freeze my rear washers stopped squirting, it was the pipe connection under the bonnet LHS near the bulkhead which had blown off.

It's been mild here until this morning, the problem started a few days ago so I don't think it's frozen. I'll see if I can see anything under the bonnet, I was thinking blocked nozzle but I'll check if a pipe has come loose, thanks

I’ve got the same issue with the rear washer on a Mk1 ZSEV, mine is in for a service and not so was going to mention it to them then.

How did you reconnect it? I've got the same issue, but can only just get my fingertips to the popped joint

Sorry. Meant as a reply to @peterseddon
I'm blaming my eyesight 🤪

When in for service they fixed it. I told them about joint in engine bay but they said it was just blocked at the nozzle. I guess it’s best to check both.

Thank you just checked this on And yes the plastic joint had come apart.
Anyone point me in the right direction. Also having issue with no fluid from rear washer, can hear the pump running had a look under the bonnet but no idea what I'm looking for tbh. Front washer is fine.

Look at the bulkhead, left hand side. Take a touch, get someone to push the button for you

You’re welcome.

Rear screen wash u/s

My dealer sorted it for me last month during the annual service. Too tight a spot to fix for me and it’s by HV/brake lines also, not something you’d wish to bodge.

Found it, can't get in there to get it back together though....is there a knack to it..
I didn't risk it, brake line and HV feeds there, but something you want any accident with. Mine was sorted at the last service.

I have the same problem after a frost. If I run the back pump for 30 seconds water comes out on the floor by drivers wheel. I have booked in to have it fixed as can't find the pipe along with a list of other problems like steering knock still doing it after 4 visits to get it fixed!! Andy

Happened twice to me, first fixed by dealer at no cost, second fixed by me at a cost of cut and bruised hands. It's a horror to get at. I checked the screen was I was using and found that even used neat, it only protected to -5c so I got some -20c and diluted it 50/50. Not happened since.
