Just wanted to share my experience and see if anyone has any insight on lead times or is tracking ships bringing cars.

I ordered from Arval on December 6th, quoted Feb 29th for delivery, which has today been updated to March 30th.What's everyone else experiencing?

Just ordered a Trophy from a main dealer and been quoted 31st March. Perhaps that's when a bulk of them are due over (I've no idea how it works - just speculating. Appreciate you ordered yours back in Dec)

I ordered and got mine within a week from Perry’s, they have a few more in stock as well all models.

Dealers have got Brand new cars, in stock now, obviously depends on what spec and colour you want, but you could drop on just the one you want, with a bit of luck.

Similar to me, I ordered from Arval beginning of December and like you was quoted 29th Feb and it was delivered yesterday.

Depends if they are risking going through the Red Sea and Suez Canal. If not it's adding 10 to 12 days (4000 miles) to go round the Cape of Good Hope

Vehicles will be shipped on various national carriers depending on capacity availability and cost of shipping. Chinese products aren't limited to being shipped on Chinese carriers.

The ship names people were talking about last year were all the names of operas. Bohème, Tannhäuser and so on. Didn't sound very Chinese!

Ordered late October via Tusker. Status changed to ‘released from factory’ mid November. Estimated delivery in late January which surprised me a bit as others were being delivered quite quickly. This has slipped to currently late March. My own car has now required a service, MOT, tax, insurance and needs four tyres, all of which I had hoped to avoid, so I am considering running it for another 12 months and cancelling the order. All the niggles highlighted on the forum and the many cars failing to charge CCU issue are also giving me doubts plus used car values have fallen so my car is not worth quite as much to offset the lease costs. Will give it some thought.

I know the OP is leasing their car and has to go through the lease ordering process, but the title of this thread could be looked at by private buyers too on PCP etc.

For private buyers there are in fact plenty of new and nearly new MG4's in stock now around the country :-

Agreed, you can literally walk into a lot of MG dealers and get one, immediately.
X Powers included. 🙂👍
