Do others find the heater controls too small when there is a lovely picture of the dash taking up the whole screen. There appears to be loads of room available for bigger icons or is it just that I have banana fingers that I find it difficult to access the icons!

Do your heater controls look like this?

if not ask your dealer to update the infotainment software but say you are having trouble with the Bluetooth keep dropping out so it's done under warranty.

Oh! Thats much better, mine does not look anything like that. My Trophy is just due it's first service so it should be done then. It looks like your Trophy was in the the same batch as mine.

Thanks for that

You could also customise one of your * buttons on the steering wheel to quickly and easily adjust the temp and fan speed using the * button then the toggle “stick”

Please update your forum profile ... your Driving: section shows MG4 SE SR :)

Latest infotainment for the Trophy is 1300R46, although the new HVAC screen came about in 1300R40 as I recall. I presume yours is still on 1300R30 or 1300R33.

(I'm deliberately prepending the 1300 part, as the SE also has an R33 release ... 1100R33) :)

The photo is from @siteguru 's post about the software updates for the SR as I went from the car your profile was showing at the time😁

I'm still on the old original software version which I hope will get updated when it goes in for it's first service next month.

It is. Even 1300R40 should be being installed as a matter of course - and that was available last June for certain. (R40 introduced the revised HVAC screen).

I completely agree. Not a problem that's confined to MG.

It seems like my phone, computer, everywhere I go, have l lots of screen real estate and minute buttons.

Be careful what you wish for. My software was updated and now I have to turn off the the Emergency Lane Keeping every time I use the Parking Brake because it keeps on trying to steer me off the road in country lanes.

No but my cooling controls look similar :) FYI It's 40°C in Adelaide today.
