According to the battery monitor there is only a trickle loss over time so I don't expect it needs much on our vehicle - I did look at the 20w+ solar panels but the efficiency seems to vary and the reviews on the AA 4.8w seems to suggest that it works fairly well. Humm.

It makes sense to me to have a maintenance option over a 'flat battery & revive' solution - but it needs to work of course may need to test...although the jump start option would get us out of other problems.

Anywhere except super low or 100%. 50-80% is current practice.

I've left mine in the airport car parks for a week and left it at about 70%. Been perfectly fine, not a single percent drop. Came back started and drove back home
