I'm getting my LKA software updated in a few days. I will report back with any changes.

The MG4 is basically a computer on wheels. The Leaf is more old school, like I wish my MG4 was to be honest.

It's got a reasonable centre display as well as the driver display, with mobile connection back to Nissan, for the phone app, for traffic data, charger locations and uploading trip/efficiency data. It's got charging and climate timers (with remote activation for both). It's got sat nav, bluetooth, reversing camera, USB port for charging and music playback, auto LED headlights, auto wipers and cruise control/speed limiter - it's actually got quite a lot of tech!

Can anyone confirm that there is a software module update that allows LKA to be
disabled with long press of button on stearing wheel. (MG4 Trophy.)

I've not heard of that. Latest update on the SE allows you to toggle between ACC and TJA using long press on the left-middle button, but TJA <> LKA.

Back to dealer today, they still insist that R33 is not available for my car 23 SE SR and R21 is the latest!! They are going to keep the car for a few days and do longer tests on it to see why it keeps going into limp mode and the regen brakes stop working as of now they have no idea. Only had the car 3 weeks.

If you don't get any joy, try AC East Kilbride ... they know for a fact that R33 is available.

I think that if you are willing to pay... But it looks like in the UK it really depends on the dealer.

Mine said they normally charge for updates but did mine to R33 under warranty as I had no outside temperature display.

They only had it 3 hours and was only waiting 2 weeks for it to go in. Wasn’t the dealer I got the car from either. Baylis MG Gloucester.

Mine still doesnt have outside temperature since they took it away. I mean the Outside temp display in the car but on the MG App.

Mine had no outside temperature in the car but R33 fixed it. The app showed the exterior temperature on R21. Was just missing on the infotainment.

I will try calling up my local tomorrow to see if They will offer a free update without any other work being done.

Mine was in for Bluetooth and warranty work today. MG wouldn’t authorise infotainment update until end of March apparently? Maybe update coming.

The newly announced MG3 shows a more refined version of the UI, maybe we could be lucky and get that too?

New MG3 goes on sale priced from £18,495

I hope it will be as a campaign, becuse R46 still has some bugs.
