Hi

I have an MG4 Trophy.

The rear parking sensors beep away when parking - and the 360 camera seems to work, but I don’t get any beeps / warnings from the front sensors.

Is there a setting I’ve missed?

Ignore the cheap shots.

Yes, you'd think they'd be included on a top-end spec model. Perfectly reasonable expectation.

But, no, MG didn't fit them as a cost-saving measure. A mistake in my view.

You can use the 360° camera on the Trophy to help with parking forwards, however. I've had a couple of occasions where I've used it. I don't feel the loss of sensors with the camera available.

No pun intended? (Cheap shots), must be the same bloke who forgot passenger rear lights/rear heat vents/door strap bolt caps/cig socket in the boot/ passenger armrest even on split/fold rear seats, Frunk forgotten so cheaper plastic panel slapped in, forgot to employ professional software company (got his mate to do that) & on the X Power he forgot about bends 🤷‍♂️. Only teasing I have severe ADHD & though the above is true I like my X Power & “IF” he had remembered my car would cost £50-£60k. The 360 camera means rear parking sensors are not necessary being honest.

When parking forward, go as far as you think is safe, get out and look and realise you have at least another 3 feet to go. 😁

(The bonnet is much shorter than previous cars you have probably driven). :)

Although I've got used to it now, I initially found the front camera less helpful than sensors with its distorted fisheye view.

Just a quick observation on this subject...if you look closely at the MG4 in the app (side on view on MG tab and front view in Digital Key Management) it has 4 front parking sensors and a camera. Maybe something for a refresh model to come?

You must have either good eyesight or a large phone screen 😁

I assume it's a relatively easy aftermarket addition?
I wouldn't count on that (assuming you mean front parking sensors) ... they would need to be integrated with the display, and I have my doubts as to whether the software for that integration exists - at least not for current cars.

Parking sensors don't need to be integrated into the display. Most aftermarket ones are just a small box with a speaker in the driver's footwell area somewhere underneath the steering column, and emit audible beeps when too close to something.
