Star buttons not working

Hey guys, just got my MG4 today (base version).

I was driving and set up my two star buttons the way I liked.
Second time I drove the car the two buttons stopped doing anything when pushed.
I checked the menu and they are assigned exactly as they were before.

They've been like this ever since. Am I doing something wrong here?

They will probably work next time you use the car.
If not try a soft reset.
Hold down home key til the system reboots.
Circa 10 seconds.

Can you update your forum profile please? (I'm assuming you have the equivalent of the UK's SE SR with the 51 kWh battery).

What software version do you have for your Infotainment?

I found mine were a bit iffy for the first couple of weeks I had the car, but then it all settled down and they worked reliably. Except the one time I let someone else drive and was trying to show her how to change the temperature, and nothing happened! When I got home I toggled the star button assignment off and on again. It immediately started working again and I've had no more trouble.

I lose the LH star button after charging. after re-assigning its ok until next charge.

My left button has not worked since the update ,right one works fine. I just cannot be bothered to take the car in for this . They can look at it when it's in for it's next service in around 6ooo miles .
