Air intake under bonnet aircon Gap

Hi. I have a rattle at the left side of my steering wheel (I think it is the smaller speaker) but when I checked my car (mg4 Lux Dec 2023) I saw this gap where the insulation kind of comes out. Is this OK? Or should I be worried?

Besides that I have this rattle at the left side. And also my rear left wheel suspension cracks sometimes if I come out of a turn. I am worried that my 4 month old car (10,000 km) today is falling apart. Most bad car ever (I had 12 others before) only good side is range and charger speed (and fun to drive).

That's not an air intake as such ... an EV doesn't need one. It's the pollen filter housing (I believe).

OK, sorry for the confusion (I know it's for AC etc.), but English is not my native language.

Take everything out of your car including any sunglasses you have in the central overhead storage and and the door pockets and then check for rattles.

If you can't easily reseat the housing where the foam is coming out of take it to your dealer.

But what is interesting is the foam is peeking out on one side towards the back.

And this is mine. Seems "normal".

PS. I went to my dealer and within 4 weeks they wil fix the rattle in front (small speaker next to the mirror controls is loose) and at the back - it's my trunk (black plastic) that's not a good fit. They will fix that also. And software for my bluetooth problems and rear door not always unlocking. The aircon stuff they think it is within acceptable range (if there is no 'leak' after the filter it's ok) but they will check anyway.
