Not seen anyone mention this so am I the only one?

I imported into my Trophy, my phone contacts from my Galaxy S21 FE. I tend to use the international codes in front of most contacts so 01642 474849 becomes +44 1642 474849
However it appears that the car removes the + from all contacts and so the number becomes 44 1642 474849 and therefore not dialable.

Anyone else got this issue? Am I doing something wrong or not done something?

I've always been wary about importing my contacts to a car's memory ever since I bought a second hand car and had all the previous owners contacts available.

So you don't use the hands free facility or do you use Android Auto or CarPlay?

I have the same problem. Do you have a solution?

With me it seems I can redial from my last calls contact list, directly from contacts gives issues. The dealer told me it has something to do with the Bluetooth module and is awaiting further action from MG.
