My wife's got the 4 Trophy and I've got the 5 Trophy. We've not yet done any long journeys in the 4 but so far I've found the seats a massive improvement over the 5 which I'm currently in the process of replacing.

Legally you don't have to use a repairer recommended by your insurance company, you can use a repairer of your choosing however you will normally have to pay the bill yourself and then obtain a refund from your insurers.

So I did a reset to factory setting in the infotainment tonight and now the buttons have returned to normal.

Another vote for Chipex, I bought for my 72 plate Trophy and its spot on.

My wife and I get the same in my MG5, fine for journeys up to about an hour but uncomfortable for anything longer. She has an MG4 on order currently so I was interested in hearing how the seats compared in that although she generally only does short journeys.

Intelligent and Go are different tariffs. To get Intelligent you need either a compatible car or charger (or both). The MG5 is not compatible so you need to have a charger that is - e.g. Zappi. If you have neither you cannot choose Octopus Intelligent but can have Octopus Go.

It will only do it at 100%. I don't have a Zappi so can't comment on that.

Just leave it plugged into your wall charger at home and it will do it automatically as required. Only really becomes an issue if you do a lot of rapid charging.
