So has anyone had a chat with Trading Standards regarding MG's claim of "up to 250 miles range". My dealer is still advertising to people that the facelift MG5 can do up to 250 miles on a single charge when all the figures are showing that they struggle to do even 200 miles?

Have not driven it today. Accumulated figure showing 2.7 miles per kwh. But I know I can't do 160 miles without having to charge.

Had a real fright this morning... Charged to 100%. Estimated mileage 160 miles! This is not good when you consider that MG are pushing 250 mile range in their advertising. Any thoughts?

Just to update everyone. Tech support at MG have come back to say that: "There is a problem with the ISA software that we are currently looking into. Hopefully a software fix should be available quite soon to resolve the problem."

Folks, my dealer told me on Friday that he has been talking with MG tech. They have an MG5 which they have run at 100% battery charge always and it has now done 160,000 miles without issue. Why do they recommend 80%?
