I ll be honest even though you are paying fortune for what you get you still want things to be working for you perfectly. Adding new tech in the cars supposed to make things easier but in this case its really a pain. I guess we will all have to write a proper complaint to our dealership telling...

What they told me is for them to pass on all these complaints they need to hit a certain number so they know it is an important issue that needs to be dealt with. If only 3-5 people brought this up they will just shut us up by saying we need to wait for the next software update.

Can i ask which dealership ? I called my one they said there is no way they can disable it for good. You will have to disengage before every single journey. But surprisingly they said noone has raised any written complaints about it. I did :)
