Today, I got my car back. They had it for a week and have fixed the issue with the center behind windscreen camera. It took from August till now to get it working after a windscreen replacement. It cannot read speed limit signs, but at least it isn't complaining.
I could be wrong, but there is also module software for Bluetooth. And that might be where the issue is. The first time they tried to fix it, they upgraded "software" but it didn't fix the problem and the phone started needing to be repaired sometimes when I started the car. The entertainment...
They promised to replace the camera unit. And have checked the tyres. The tyres are fine. All of the car's tyres are the same pressure. They think it is a software bug.
What annoys me at the moment is the aircon screen opening every time the car starts. I am more of a set the aircon and only...
My car is a Trophy. Everytime it went to the workshop, it came back with more problems. I complained about this and they upgraded and reconfigured the software. Most of the problems have disappeared. The warning about tyre issues still exists though. And anything that uses the front windscreen...
I am still waiting for my replacement behind the windscreen camera unit. Was promised at the beginning of December that they were just waiting for the parts.
I think that will be ok. As long as Autoglass never go near it again. It "broke" when they replaced the windscreen.
Richmond MG in Guildford have been great through this whole process.
For my part, they cannot recalibrate the unit. At this point they have upgraded the centre console software, they have spent a couple of days tracing the issue and now the decision has been made that they have to replace the unit at the top of the window that has the camera. I am waiting for...
Finally got my car to MG for recalibration and guess what. They cannot calibrate it. They cannot talk to the systems they need to.
Basically, our beloved Autoglass broke my car when replacing the windscreen. Which also explains some plastic clips I found on the floor after Autoglass replaced...
I have only seen this once. When the tyre pressure on the rear tyres dropped from 2.5 to 2.4. The front tyres stayed at 2.5. I have since seen all the tyre pressures drop to 2.4 while driving without any warning. I have not added any air to the tyres.
On friday driving to the airport, I got a warning about one of my rear tyres. Then later I got a warning about the second one. What is a tyre/wheel anomaly? Driving back from the airport on Monday, the tyres reported fine. Any ideas?
Well, this has been quite the debacle. First we are told by Autoglass that we need to arrange the appointment with MG to get the calibration done. So the windscreen replacement appointment was cancelled so that we can get it closer to the 12th October.
The we get a call from a quite...
Got another call from Autoglass to make the appointment to get the windscreen changed. This time the person on the phone was very adamant that it is up to Autoglass to get MG to calibrate the car and therefore we don't wait until the MG booking, So my car is booked in for 11 september to get the...
That is fast. I cannot get any MG to give me a recalibration appointment before 12th October. We wasted our time phoning multiple MG dealers.
I really have no trust in the MG software. So I don't want to drive much between glass replacement and recalibration.
Autoglass have the glass and want to replace it in 4 days. The problem is that I then have to take the car to mg to get it calibrated. And mg can't do that before 12 October. So I have delayed the windscreen replacement till closer to the mg appointment.
Windscreen on my trophy is now in need of a replacement. Autoglass say they have to order it in.
The chips seem almost superficial, but the crack from them isn't.
It is on the passenger side. My wife noticed when she got in the car this morning. I didn't see them at all.
