    MG4 infotainment Screen Fault

That could be part of it. Will check that out, thanks.

    MG4 infotainment Screen Fault

Oh it’s most definitely faulty! But the DAB radio “fix” has got it back up and running for now (after a faff!). Thanks to whoever posted it on this thread. I shall report the issue to my dealership tomorrow and see how they handle it.

    MG4 infotainment Screen Fault

Mine’s just done this error tonight. The infotainment system glitches have been pissing me off more and more lately. Inactive radio, LKA icon disappearing from the MG Pilot, but still active. Having to restart it multiple times because the radio goes off… Now this! I’ll try and access the DAB...

Aha! Thanks for that gem of advice! Just increased the target charge and tried again with success.

    Auto Air Con Via iSMART

I have tried many times since owning my car to automatically switch on the air conditioning via iSMART whilst it’s plugged in. Every time it has failed. See attached photo of the error message I always receive. The app works fine to manage charging, send routes to the nav, lock and unlock the...

    MG4 Trophy Range Test

The average speed of 45mph was for the full journey, which included a decent amount of 30 and 40mph driving at both ends. Significantly more going into and back out of the centre of Manchester. This dramatically reduces the average speed of the full journey over just a plain motorway trip.

    MG4 Trophy Range Test

To get the average speed above 50 on that type of journey, you’d need to be doing 80 plus on the motorway, which will hit the efficiency in any car.

    TPMS

Yes that’s what must’ve happened. I had to inflate the tyre this morning to be able to get the trolley jack in place. The puncture wasn’t that fast, so the tyre must not have softened enough for the TPMS to register a change before I parked up.

    TPMS

Thanks for the responses gents. Yes it’s clearly a rotational designed TPMS system. Anyway, the good thing is the puncture was bang in the middle of the tyre, so it’s fixed and we’re back rolling for 15 quid.

    TPMS

I shall do a remote scan tomorrow when the wheel is about 25 miles away from the car and see what it says then… I must admit I’ve been dubious of the 2.6 bar all round reading. Anyway, the tyre needs fixing first and I’ll worry about the other stuff later 😳

    TPMS

I reversed it out of the garage, and then a couple of yards more, to see if anything would change, then drove back into the garage. TPMS not registered, which makes me think it’s the rotational system that’s on the car and not actual pressure measurement. Anyone know where the jacking points...

Thanks for your reply. More investigation required on this!

    TPMS

Thanks guys. Yes I did wonder that myself. It’s definitely gone in inflated (I would have noticed!) and come out deflated. Wasn’t sure how the TPMS worked. Good thing is I know, so hopefully the tyre can be plugged ok without replacing.

    TPMS

I’ve got friends staying who’ve recently bought a MG4 SE SR. They wanted to see my Trophy model as a comparison. Pulled it out of my garage to the comment, “Your passenger rear tyre looks flat!” On inspection, yes it’s completely flat, which I will attend to tomorrow… More concerning is the fact...

    MG4 Trophy Range Test

I’ve had my Camden Grey MG4 Trophy 2 weeks. Overall I’m very happy with it. Yes the lane assist and AEB can be a bit annoying, and I occasionally have to restart the infotainment when the radio decides to go quiet, but otherwise no issues. Anyway, this weekend I have done a long range trial to...
